The Western Australian government wants to raise the state’s digital readiness index score, one of several measurable goals outlined in a draft of its WA: Digitally Evolved – Digital Industries Acceleration Strategy.
The draft, released on Monday, does not reveal any new government initiatives which are to be developed through a consultation process that was initiated through the strategy.
The draft strategy focuses on five priority areas: advocacy and education, advisory and technical support, financial support, data access and market intelligence, and opportunity facilitation.
