The federal offshoot of disgraced consultancy PwC will be paid almost $40,000 a day for the next 15 months to assist with the Health and Aged Care department’s technology uplift, as a government mandate to start insourcing more work gets going.

Scyne Advisory this month picked up its biggest federal contract since the PwC tax leaks scandal rocked the consulting sector and triggered its fire sale buy of it’s government work and staff last year.

It’s new $12.8 million deal with the Department of Health and Aged Care runs until late next year and adds Scyne to a growing list of technology vendors and consultants associated with the new Aged Care Act.
