Popular NSW grant program gets reviewed a second time

A second review of the popular MVP Ventures program is underway just weeks after the grant was saved from the scrap heap by the New South Wales government, leaving early-stage startups with outstanding funding applications in the lurch.

The review of MVP Ventures comes as the government stonewalls questions from the state’s Opposition on the status of other industry and innovation grant programs in the wake of last month’s cash-strapped Budget.

MVP Ventures, along with five other industry and innovation grant programs, was put on hold in mid-May while the Minns government sought to find billions in savings through its Comprehensive Budget Review.
