An eclectic group of more than 75 innovation leaders from across academia, business, startups and venture capital will meet at New South Wales Parliament House on Friday for an ideas ‘summit’ ahead of a reset of the state’s innovation policy.
Hosted by Minister for Innovation, Science and Technology Anoulack Chanthivong, the summit will discuss plans for Innovation policy in NSW as part of a process that will culminate in the publication of an Innovation Blueprint that maps state policies for encouraging startup growth, industry adoption of innovation, and attracts global capital and talent.
The Parliament House event is the first large gathering of innovation leaders taking part in the blueprint process, but its not the first – the government hosted a regional roundtable in Wagga Wagga last week.
