NSW govt readies a review of space industry strategy

The New South Wales government is planning to review the state’s four-year-old space industry strategy as part of a wider and ongoing reset of industry, innovation and trade policy.

The existing NSW Space Industry Development Strategy was released by the former Coalition government in early 2020 to grow the local space sector, including startups and small and medium-sized enterprises.

Among the initiatives was a National Space Industry Hub, first announced two years earlier in 2018 to provide collaboration and commercialisation opportunities, as well as a Space Industry Working Group.
