The remaining $100 million in the NSW Digital Restart Fund will go to solutions specifically for housing supply, frontline service delivery, energy and the environment, accessibility and cyber, under a new direction set by Digital Government minister Jihad Dib.
Mr Dib announced the new priorities on Wednesday to respond to the “biggest challenges” facing the state, narrowing the once $2.2 billion Digital Restart Fund (DRF) fund significantly.
State government agencies have been asked to submit proposals for the remaining funding in line with the new priorities, and told it needs to be genuinely new and “extraordinary”.
