Growth grant propels SA AgTech into global market

Four more early stage companies have been awarded $4 million in grants under the Albanese government’s budding commercialisation program, with South Australian AgTech Seed Terminator landing $3 million.

The company received the Industry Growth Program’s (IGP) second largest grant to date to reach new markets for its non-chemical weed killing innovation.

The total cost of weeds to Australian grain growers is more than $3 billion and popular chemical treatments are creating more herbicide resistant varieties.
