The federal government will bring in outside help from the private sector to help its three-person advisory board assess applications under the tax offset scheme for video game developers.
The expert assessors, which are expected to assess applications on a case-by-case basis, will begin in July – a full two years after the Digital Games Tax Offset (DGTO) was first introduced.
