The Department of Defence has signed a new contract with Adobe to cover software and support services for the next three years. At around $6 million a year, the new deal more than doubles the previous arrangement and came through a limited tender. It represents the US giant’s second largest federal contract.
Under the new contract, running until 2026, the Department will pay at least $18.6 million for access to “over thirty” Adobe products, a department spokesperson told InnovationAus.com.
The spokesperson did not identify the specific software products and said the contract also covers “software support and services” but has no relationship to the massive OneDefence data uplift program underway.
