Defence has almost doubled the number of multinational prime contractors it is paying to engage with local businesses through its long-running Global Supply Chain Program.
Defence Industry minister Pat Conroy on Monday announced an expansion of the program, with Defence re-contracting the existing seven participants and adding six more.
Babcock, Hunter Ingalls Industries, Kongsberg, L3Harris, Moog, and SAAB will join existing primes BAE Systems, Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Northrup Grumman, Raytheon, Rheinmetall, and Thales.
