Defence’s long-running data centre support deal with Leidos has surpassed $2.5 billion after the American defence and IT service giant picked up a $156 million top-up for its main contract earlier this year.
In the space of three months, the contract, part of the department’s long-running centralised processing arrangement, has grown more than 60 per cent to $414.7 million, or $2.6 million a week.
The company has also picked up a swathe of other centralised processing-related contracts this year, worth a combined $121 million, bringing the value of new and amended contracts to almost $280 million in 2024.
