CSIRO’s green data upgrade to replace 20-year-old system

The CSIRO is searching for a new platform to wrangle a variety of sustainability data sources and formats into progress against goals like net zero, as it looks to lead as one of the larger emitters of greenhouse gases in government.

The national science agency this month went to market for off the shelf software to replace a two-decade old system that relies on spreadsheets and some manual data entry.

It wants a new cloud-based software as a service solution up and running within months for data capture and management, analysis and forecast, visualisation and reporting features.
