The domestic tech sector is still waiting for a formal federal government response to the Pathway to Diversity in STEM review which began in March last year and was presented to Industry and Science Minister Ed Husic in February.
The review, chaired by Cicada Innovations chief executive Sally-Ann Williams, called for committing to a whole-of-government, long-term strategy to increase diversity and inclusion in STEM through a series of programs targeting all levels of the system from education, through grant funding and technology procurement.
