AI robotics innovator Advanced Navigation has launched a manufacturing facility in Sydney to ramp up production of world-leading technology that will help guide lunar landers back to the Moon in the coming years.
The purpose-built facility will also act as a hub for collaboration with researchers from University of Technology Sydney, allowing the company to accelerate the commercialisation of its navigation systems.
It is the second manufacturing facility to be launched by the company this year and follows a $108 million Series B growth funding round led by US private equity firm KKR less than 12 months ago.
