Adelaide-based additive manufacturer AML3D has secured a contract extension on its alloy testing program for use in the United States Navy’s submarine program.
The ASX-listed firm uses a patented additive manufacturing process to 3D print metal alloys.
The $350,000 contract extension will see AML3D commence development and testing of 3D printed copper-nickel components to demonstrate they meet the needs of the United States Navy’s Submarine Industrial Base.
