Accenture’s My Health Record deal to face market test

Accenture’s lucrative My Health Record deal will be market tested for the first time in more than a decade next year, with the Australian Digital Health Agency planning to carve up the contract and insource some of the work.

As the tech service giant scores another $22 million to continue supporting the digital health record, the ADHA on Tuesday took the first step towards retendering work worth at least $770 million over the past 13 years.

Multiple contracts for application support and maintenance services for digital health infrastructure, including My Health Record, are expected to result from the eventual tender process, which is slated for next year.
