Accenture’s Defence cloud deal doubles to $35m in just six months

Accenture’s contract with Defence for a cloud computing capability has more than doubled in value in six months, skyrocketing to just under $35 million since being awarded in February.

The Department of Defence posted an amendment to its “cloud capability” deal with the Irish-domiciled consulting giant last month, marking a jump in value of $20.9 million over the 13-month contract period.

The term of the contract, which runs until the end of March 2024, remains unchanged. InnovationAus.com also understands there has been no change to the scope of the deal beyond the original approach to market.
