Silicon Quantum Computing readies first commercial product for launch

Silicon Quantum Computing is poised to launch its first commercial product, a quantum machine learning processor that is already being used by some Australia’s largest companies.

As the Sydney-based deep tech startup looks to scale up production, founder Michelle Simmons has predicted an explosion in quantum-infused machine learning over the next three years.

“Our first commercial product we thought was going to be 2028 and we’re bringing it out this year,” the quantum pioneer and former Australian of the Year told a packed session at SXSW Sydney.
