NSW digital minister Jihad Dib says the state’s new digital strategy is grounded in the belief that online government services must be built for the whole of society, not just a portion of it.
In a wide-ranging interview, Mr Dib said the deliberate focus on accessibility in the strategy marks a turning point in NSW’s digital journey – and that the time is more than right.
“This strategy is about digital with purpose,” Mr Dib told InnovationAus.com following the release of the NSW’s first digital strategy in five years. “It’s more than a digital strategy, it’s a people strategy.”
