Thodey tapped for Services Aus review

Businessman David Thodey and current and former senior public servants have been quietly tapped to review Services Australia’s ability to deliver policy outcomes as part of the Albanese government’s public service uplift.

Mr Thodey led a review of the entire Australian Public Service in 2019 but this time will focus on the tech-heavy agency responsible for myGov, the government’s central online services access point.

A common finding among other recent capability reviews across different agencies is the need to improve use of data and for more digital investment.
