BCG and the other ‘Big 7’ consultancies held an unusual Zoom meeting earlier this month to help prepare their business lobby group’s evidence to the Parliament, which is placing intense scrutiny on the sector.
Fronting a joint committee’s inquiry into consultants on Thursday, BCG government lead Miguel Carrasco confirmed he was part of the meeting that took place two weeks ago to provide feedback on a Business Council of Australia draft submission to another inquiry being run by the Senate.
Mr Carrasco said meetings of the Big 7 – PwC, Deloitte, KPMG, EY, McKinsey, BCG and Bain – are “unusual” but it was a “constructive” discussion that helped refine the BCA submission.
