PsiQuantum takes part in Qld govt quantum advisory meeting

PsiQuantum, a front-runner in the federal government’s secret quantum computing EoI, was the only foreign company to take part in the inaugural meeting of Queensland’s newly formed quantum advisory council.

InnovationAus.com can reveal Dr Geoff Pryde, a senior quantum researcher at the US company, attended the Quantum Innovation Queensland (QIC) meeting in Brisbane earlier this month as an observer.

Dr Pryde is the sole Australia-based director of local subsidiary PsiQuantum Pty Ltd, according to corporate filings which also name US-based PsiQuantum’s chief executive and co-founder Jeremy O’Brien and chief operating officer Fariba Danesh, both of whom reside in California, as company directors.
