Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has made a flying visit to the Gilmour Space Technologies factory floor on the Gold Coast as part of his government’s post-Budget media blitz.
With Australia’s first orbital launch vehicle as a backdrop, Mr Albanese ran the highlights of the federal government industrial development program.
The government focus, he says, is policies that advance Australia’s economic resilience, sovereign capability development, advanced manufacturing, and support programs that improve the commercial outcomes of Australian research excellence.
