Peak bodies representing renewable hydrogen are at odds over the minimum production capacity projects should have to be eligible for the federal government’s $2 billion green hydrogen production credit.
The Hydrogen Headstart program was announced in the 2023-24 federal budget and will deliver a production credit to two or three renewable hydrogen projects to make up the difference in cost of production and the sale price of hydrogen.
