200 consultancies yet to pledge on pricing leak

The Department of Finance on Friday revealed it had received only 20 formal assurances from 236 consulting firms saying that they will not misuse the rates of competitors that were mistakenly sent to them by the government last week.

Most suppliers have indicated they had deleted the information but the department is waiting on the vast majority to complete official paperwork.

Statutory declarations received so far also reveal at least two people have seen the information that was inadvertently distributed to Management Advisory Services panel suppliers by the department.
