NDIA accepted Salesforce gifts as contract quadrupled to $126m

National Disability Insurance Agency officials accepted thousands of dollars’ worth of previously undisclosed gifts from Salesforce, including during the customer relationship management system tender that the US software giant ultimately won.

Details of the gifts, including dinners at upmarket restaurants and golf trips, are revealed in a Salesforce submission to the parliamentary committee that has spent the last year examining the agency’s procurement practices.

The NDIA has previously told the committee, which will hand down its final report on Monday, that there is “no evidence” of officials having disclosed any gifts from the company between 2019-20 and 2022-23.
